The sandpaintings depicted below originate from Navajo healing ceremonies. When the ceremony is over, the sandpainting is destroyed and thus the illness. The sandpainting we offer come in various shapes and sizes and include sandpainted boxes, oak framed, oak framed and matted, and unframed. Designs are made up of sujects familiar to the Navajo people - yeis (yays) or Navajo Holy People, rainbows, plants, roots, trees and birds.
